Buying shoes for children: A Big Challenge
Shopping shoes for children is a very hectic task. Several aspects are evaluated before buying shoes for your little angel. I have seen parents rushing from shop to shop, mall to mall just to find the right pair of shoes for their young ones. Nowadays, several local and International brands are designing smart and comfortable shoes for infants and children keeping in the mind the several anatomical and health aspects related to children. We should keep in mind the size, age, and health factors of a child while buying shoes.

Important points to keep in mind while buying shoes for children:-
Ø The size of the foot should be taken care while going shopping. As the child’s foot-size changes with the time.
Ø Always take your child along while going for buying him/her a pair of shoes.
Ø The heels should be comfortable.
Ø The padding used inside the shoe should be absorbent and skin friendly.
Ø Always buy larger shoes as same size shoes might hurt the toes.
Ø Velcro should be preferred in the place of laces.
Ø The soles of the shoes should be slippery resistant.
Ø Bright and vibrant colors should be purchased as these colors make the child happy.
Ø Waterproof sandals or crocs should be purchased in the rainy season.
Ø Cotton socks should be used in the place of synthetic nylon socks. Cotton is more absorbent and cool on the skin.
Though it’s still not easy to decide while shopping for shoes as the child often cries for the worst quality of shoes and parents zero-in to buy that only. The child tantrums are also a big challenge while shopping. But, still, we should keep the above points in mind while deciding the right pair of shoes for our little angel.
