help you there?” “Do you know the procedure involved in making Green Tea or blindly
following the instructions of beauticians and gym-trainers?
How Green Tea and Black
Tea are Made?
Both Green and Black tea are made from the leaves of Plant Camillia
Senensis. They both have same composition of minerals and nutrients. The only
difference between the two is that the black Tea is dried and fermented to
intensify its flavor and color. This is the reason why milk turns brown when we
add black tea in it.
Whereas, while manufacturing the Green Tea, the leaves of the
Plant ‘Camillia Senensis’ are pan-fried to prevent fermentation. This process
is the reason why the Green Tea does not have color. The level of oxidation
decides the type of the tea, its color and intensity.
